AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS

Before you get started with automatic payment, you will need to do a couple of things:

  1. Confirm that your account balance is $0.00. The District cannot begin drafting when delinquencies exist.
  2. Print off the form and fill out all fields. Be sure to include your account number as it appears on your bill. Don’t forget to include your phone number.
  3. Include a voided check from your checking account.

What does Pinewood Sanitary District service?

Strictly sewer service, no trash pick up or any water services. We are also not affiliated with either of these entity’s. If you have questions that pertains to one of these services call AZ Water (800-649-8393) or your local trash company.

What do I use to winterize my pipes?

Use RV antifreeze NOT automotive antifreeze.

Can Rock be Purchased?

When we have time (sewer is our first priority) we sell products we keep on hand for PSD. We prefer you pick up what you need but can occasionally deliver, for a fee. Always phone the office first to see if we have product available and someone to load or deliver product. You will have to sign a waiver for us to load your vehicle and pay a $20 loading fee.

Do you have firewood?

We do have free firewood: This is for local residents, It can only be picked up on Mondays and you MUST check into the office first before going to the lot. They are normally only large pieces of wood available and there are to be no cutting tools allowed on site, due to insurance liabilities.

How is reclaimed water used?

Incoming wastewater is treated and disinfected to a high degree at the PSD wastewater treatment plant and must meet strict water quality requirements. During the dry months, the reclaimed water is used by the golf course for irrigation. This reuse of treated water greatly reduces the need to pump scarce groundwater for our aquifer, thus extending our future use of groundwater for drinking water purposes. Reuse water is also available for purchase, the cost is $1.50 per 1,000 gallons.

What not to flush?

What not to flush: Sanitary & baby wipes (even the “flushable” ones), fats, oils, grease, food, trash, non bio-degradables, pads, cloth, chemicals, disposable gloves, cotton balls, q-tips, dental floss, rags, disposable diapers, feminine products (including applicators), medications, syringes, needles, paper towels, tissues & plastic bags.

What should I do if I have a backup?

What to do if you have a back-up: Please call Pinewood Sanitary FIRST, before the plumber, we will give you a free inspection of the “outside” (not in your home). If the problem is on PSD’s side of the sewer line, we will repair it at no charge. If the repair is on the customers side, we can give you a quote or you can call a local plumber.
